Stephen has been supporting leaders with development for over 25 years. He has held key Human Resources leadership roles in a variety of industries throughout his career with a consistent focus on leadership and organizational development. Stephen brings a unique blend of business experience, leadership development expertise and a solid understanding of what it takes to be successful in today’s organizations. He is recognized for his integrity, commitment to excellence and ability to deliver results.
As a coach, Stephen works with executives to be authentic and effective leaders. He is known as someone who can quickly establish trust and help clients focus on what’s most important. His coaching has helped leaders improve results and how they work with others. Stephen has helped leaders increase self-awareness, improve leadership skills and broaden their understanding of what is achievable through their leadership. His clients portray him as insightful and supportive – someone who both challenges and inspires them. One senior executive described him as someone who “brings the ideal blend of insight and courage that helps his clients get results.”
Stephen earned his leadership coaching certification from Georgetown University and is a member of the International Coach Federation. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Smith College and Bachelors of Science degree from Loyola University of New Orleans. Stephen is certified in numerous leadership assessment tools including Lominger Voices 360, MBTI, Inventory of Leadership Styles (ILS), Organizational Climate Survey (OCS) and Denison’s Leadership Assessment.
Stephen recently moved the Washington, D.C. area with his wife Georgianne, a Social Worker at The Lab School of Washington. They have two adult children who are working to launch their lives. When not focused on client work, Stephen loves spending time outdoors cycling, hiking or kayaking.
